The second episode of a D411, a four-part documentary series that follows the trials and tribulations of Irish teenagers, is aired on RTÉ 2 on Sunday. This episode concerns LYD (Live Your Dream), a three-piece rock band from a disadvantaged inner-city neighbourhood, and their journey from bedroom band to playing in public.

Singer Amanda, lead guitarist Jodie and bassist Caitlin have been playing together for the past three years, but have never gigged beyond the confines of their local community hall.

D411

follows them as they attempt to write their own material and impress Bryan Scully, the marketing manager of Dublin’s Pint Bar, as they try to land a gig at his venue.

They’re also dealing with the challenges of growing up and finding their own identities. The episode airs at 11.55am on Sunday.
