As we’ve come to expect from one of the leading lights in the Nordic cosmic disco galaxy, Thomas Moen Hermansen’s latest album shoots for the stars. Like his peers Hans-Peter Lindstrom and Todd Terje, Hermansen is obsessed with taking disco to new heights and finding new shades, nuances, tribal textures and trippy melodies to play with on every outing. In the hands of this Nordic wizard, disco shakes off all its stale attributes and dated stereotypes, to be reimagined as deep, mesmeric, symphonic workouts for alien night- trippers out on the lash.

Here Hermansen creates elegant, rich and detailed tracks such as Bobletekno and Tjukkas Pa Karussel by infusing robust, minimal house and electro foundations with layers of special effects from the disco, psych-rock, soundtrack and exotica wardrobes.
