Picking apart the elements of an exceptional album is no easy task, particularly when it's as frail and atmospheric as

. Many of the songs on the original are so offbeat and strange that they sound like remixes anyway - but that hasn't stopped the cream of the Irish electronica and alternative scenes from modifying these tunes to their own taste. Some work better than others. Hunter-Gatherer's elongation of

enhances its hazy, haunted ambience beautifully, David Kitt adds a warm beat and his own soft murmur to

turn the hymnal
