Yes, of course you are. Actually, having listened to this immensely appealing mixture of pop, psychedelia and lightly dusted funk virtually on a loop for the past week, I'm starting to think that Californian former school friends Sam France and Jonathan Rado really might be what their album title claims they are. France and Rado have, apparently, 10 unreleased albums locked away, but this one at least is a veritable smorgasbord of clever ideas, sonic goofiness, psych-pop experimentation and cracked-concrete notions of what makes for incredibly good music. Perhaps a bit too wayward for some (beware of people with flowers in their hair), this is, nonetheless, bravura pop that makes a resounding ping right at the top of your head. foxygen.bandcamp.com
