Plans are being made for a mammoth gig in Dublin at the end of October in support of Marriage Equality, the campaign for civil marriage for gay and lesbian people.

A number of Irish acts have already signed up for "Just Love –A Gig for Marriage Equality" which will take place in the Round Room of the Mansion House on Sunday, October 28th. Royseven, Heathers, Brian Kennedy, This Club, Bitches with Wolves, Tadhg Cooke, Element, Daniel Murphy, Rose O'Neill, Shaz Oye and Glória (Dublin's Gay and Lesbian Choir) will lead the fray, with more acts to be announced.

"We are delighted with the support we have received from all the performers who have so generously offered their services free of charge," said Marriage Equality Director Moninne Griffith. "It's events like this that really make a difference to our fundraising efforts and enable us to continue to fight for equality for same-sex couples and families."

The night will be MCed by FM104 DJ Sean Munsanje, and tickets (€35 plus booking fee) are on sale from Ticketmaster now.
