The Irish Polish Economic Association, which is strenuously involved in helping Irish and Polish business interests get together both on the business and social side of things, hopes to hold a business briefing on November 16th to mark the visit here of the Polish Ambassador, Mr Janusz Skolimowski at the IBEC premises in Dublin.

The association, shortly to rename itself the Irish-Polish Business Association to give it more meaning to people in business, has about 60 corporate members and is responsible for business meetings and social events between Polish and Irish business people.

Paid McMenamin, chairman of the association and secretary Mary McMahon, recently visited Warsaw, where they had meetings with different Polish associations sharing the same aims as themselves.
