Double Fine Happy Action Theatreisn't really a game, at least in the way that we've come to expect. There isn't really an ultimate goal or anything to win. It had me a little puzzled at first; you just don't know what to do with it. But once you just go with it for what it is – turning your living room into a playground – it's a bit of fun. One scene fills your living room with lava. Another makes it snow. You can feed the birds or stomp on some buildings, should the need take you. But, perhaps predictably, my favourites were the ones where you had to actually do something and score points. Like the retro shooter that turns you into a bug-zapping butterfly. It's perfect for younger Kinect players who haven't quite got the skills to control the more complicated games.
