As usual, there's an app for that, one that will take pages of information and distill it into a few manageable bits of information. Summlytakes a web page and summarises it for you in just a few paragraphs.It also picks out important keywords related to the text on the page. Here's how it works: open the app on your iPhone or iPad, copy the URL, and paste it into Summly.Once you hit submit, the app will do it's thing. You can also set up a bookmark on Safari, cutting the process down to a couple of clicks. Summly's search function works in a similar way. It allows you to search the web and returns a list of results that you can see summarised links for, or click through to the original article. Perfect for concise summaries of the web's most text-heavy pages.
