A Whyte's Christmas sale is being held this afternoon at the well known auctioneers on Dublin's Marlborough Street, starting at 1 p.m. The 900 lots of comics, toys, telephone cards, cigarette and trade cards, picture postcards, photographs, maps, autographs and assorted memorabilia includes a mint condition boxed 1966 Corgi Batmobile and Batboat, estimated to make £125-£150, and a mint boxed Dinky The Prisoner mini moke, which should make £120-£140.

An IMI conference telephone card from 1989, originally given away free in Killarney, could now fetch as much as £400, as might a collection of some 200 picture postcards of Cork.
