Dr Charlie Lennon will play his composition Ceide Fields in, aptly, the Ceide Fields of wild and wonderful Mayo next Monday as part of the Ceol Reoite/ Frozen Music Millennium Project, which links new compositions to heritage sites (phone 01-6613111) . . . The deadline is August 30th for receipt of applications from artists in all disciplines for bursaries to go to the haven of Annaghmakerrig, Co Monaghan, to ply their trade in peace. Next Friday is the deadline for applications from cho- reographers who want time and space to work on new ideas with Finola Cronin.
