Julia’s passage to India

It seems that Julia Roberts has become a Hindu.

No, really. The actor was won over by the religion while researching her new film,

Eat Pray Love

. Based on the Oprah Winfrey-favoured bestseller by Elizabeth Gilbert, the picture finds its protagonist travelling to India to learn yoga and mess about in an ashram. “I’m definitely a practising Hindu,” Roberts told interviewers.

As what (or who) would Julia Roberts like to be reincarnated? A horse? A frog? Reese Witherspoon? “Golly, I’ve been so spoiled with my friends and family in this life. Next time I want to be just something quiet and supporting,” she said.
