A report on Irish studies in US colleges in yesterday's editions said that Notre Dame University had bought Newman House, Dublin, from University College, Dublin. In fact, Newman House is and remains the property of UCD and it has not been sold. Notre Dame has a licence to operate in space which has been provided on the top floor of the building. UCD plans to enhance its own presence in Newman House.
