Boston comes to Dublin

For five days, starting next Monday, Newpark Music Centre, Dublin will be the home of Boston's world famous Berklee College of Music, alma mater of such jazz notables as John Scofield, Branford Marsalis, Gary Burton, Diana Krall, Cyrus Chestnut and Europeans such as Mike Gibbs and Tommy Smith. In one of the most exciting developments ever on the jazz music education scene here, Berklee's entire jazz faculty will work with 80 young musicians, about half of whom are Irish, with the rest coming from Britain.
