A MAHOGANY breakfront bookcase with gothic glazed doors flanked by pillars went for £3,600, the highest, price at Tuesday afternoon's furniture and fine art auction in Hamilton Osborne King's Blackrock rooms. A pair of later 19th century giltwood and plaster corner mirrors fetched £1,700 and a mid-19th century mahogany framed sofa sold for £1,500. A set of eight mahogany dining chairs sold for £1,350, a walnut told over card table fetched £1,300, a mahogany wardrobe from circa 1830 went under the hammer for £1,250 and a set of six mid 19th century mahogany framed dining chairs fetched £1,100.
