A NUMBER of dealers specialising in antique silver will be taking stands at tomorrow's antiques and collectables fair in Newman House, Dublin. Among other pieces, they will be offering sets of cutlery in presentation boxes, silver toast racks, photograph frames, napkin rings (including a matched set of six from London, dated 1911), late 18th century Irish bright cut coasters, a late 17th century German beaker and an early 19th century Scottish snuffbox. There will be the usual selection of small pieces of furniture, Victorian jewellery, porcelain, paintings and prints, linen, stamps and postcards.
