A commode and other Swedish furniture

THOMAS R Adams of Blackrock has three pieces of Swedish furniture included in its auction of 450 lots on the company's premises next Tuesday. The first of these is an early 19th century mahogany commode, with white marble top, which is attributed to Gotlieh Iwersson and estimated to fetch £2,500-£3,000. The two other Swedish pieces are a mahogany secretaire abbatant in mahogany, attributed to 18th century master John Neiiber Jnr, and a late 18th century lacquer long case clock, signed Eric Wasberg; both of these carry an estimate of £2,500-£3,000.

Other furniture in the same sale includes 14 matched Sheraton revival dining chairs (estimate £1,800-£2,200), a rosewood boardroom D end table and 12 rosewood chairs (£1,500-£2,500), a Victorian circular table in mahogany, with six dining chairs from the same period (£1,000-£1,400), and a Victorian long case clock by Jameson.
