LONDON - A man who claimed the school he attended failed to protect him from four years of persistent bullying has won £30,000 in an unprecedented legal, action.

The case, which is likely to herald dozens of similar actions, was settled out of court by the school's local education authority. Mr Sebastian Sharp (20) was said to have claimed he was regularly beaten up and verbally abused.
