WATCH: Air traffic return to the skies of Europe

THIS GREAT time-lapse video of flights around Europe from April 16th to 21st shows how the skies reopened in the wake of the volcanic ash cloud.

Using flight data from flightradar24.com and maps from openstreetmap.org, it’s a striking reminder of just how badly European travel was disrupted.
