VIP Calling, a leading wholesale provider of international Internet telephony services, has selected networking specialist Cisco Systems, to provide Internet telephony products for the international VIP Calling network. Under the deal, VIP Calling will purchase more than $10 million worth of Cisco gateways and switches to deploy in its global network.
As a major wholesale telecommunications provider, VIP Calling traffics substantial Carrier minutes between North America and its points of presence overseas. The Cisco products will enable the VIP Calling Network to further expand the volume of minutes originating from both North America and VIP Calling's overseas partners.
