Brendan Murphy, the former head of corporate PR at Financial Dynamics, has taken up a new role in Dublin with New York-based company Teneo. Teneo, recently co-founded by Irishman Declan Kelly, comprises a merchant bank, a private equity vehicle and a consulting business.

Dublin will hosta European air accident investigation conference next month for about 100 delegates. It will provide, among other things, an update by French and Brazilian authorities on the investigation into the loss in 2009 of Air France 447 over the Atlantic.
Jurgen Whyte, chief inspector in the Irish Air Accident Investigation Unit, is the new chairman of the European Civil Aviation Conference Group of Experts on Accident Investigation.
