Papermarc has acquired the business and assets of Smurfit Paper & Board Mills at Burnley in the UK for an undisclosed sum. Papermark is the company formed by Mr Mark Slevin who until recently headed up Smurfit's industrial packaging division in the UK. The Burnley Mill produces over 120,000 tonnes per year of a range of papers using recovered waste paper as its raw material.
