Setting up a business in the downturn is one thing, the logistics of finding people to buy your product is quite another. More than 350 small businesses are expected to converge on the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny this Thursday for the final InterTradeIreland “Meet the Buyer” event.
Attendees can engage with representatives from 20 of the key buying organisations from Ireland north and south, including the HSE, Dublin Airport Authority, Northern Ireland Electricity , Irish Vocational Education Association (IVEA) and the Garda.
The all island public procurement market is worth about €20 billion to SMEs and this is the perfect opportunity for SMEs to source buyers, says Margaret Hearty, InterTradeIreland director of business programmes.
