Second-line stocks are back in fashion with investors scratching around for good value.

Activity in the stock markets has been relatively quiet and this, combined with weakness in some financial stocks, is prompting investors to assess their holdings. According to brokers, the main buying activity is now concentrated in second-line stocks, with even the much maligned exploration sector enjoying a revival. Exploration stocks which are being mopped up include Minmet and Ennex. A substantial amount of money is still being poured into Internet stocks.
