Rubber profits bounce

THE recovery programme enjoyed by Durex condoms to rubber gloves group London International is continuing strongly with sales and earnings rising sharply, latest annual figures revealed. Sales on a comparable basis during the year to the end of March jumped 11 per cent while pre tax profits boomed 72 per cent to £26.2 million sterling from £15.2 million. The group is doubling the total dividend payout to 2p on earnings per share 1.74p higher at 5.76p.
