Latest accounts for Cork-based media group Thomas Crosbie Holdings show a payment of €1

Latest accounts for Cork-based media group Thomas Crosbie Holdings show a payment of €1.05 million last year to a former director as compensation for loss of office. Presumably, the beneficiary was Anthony Dinan, TCH’s former managing director, who left the company in June 2010 after a 30-year stint.

This generous exit package came in the same year that staff at the Irish Examinerand the Sunday Business Posttook pay cuts and had their pension entitlements cut. TCH made a pretax loss of €6.4 million last year.
