The legal action by Dunnes Stores head of finance Larry Howard over allegedly been placed on “garden leave” by the company since late last year has been adjourned by the High Court.
Mr Howard initiated his proceedings last month. It has been adjourned twice to allow for the filing of legal documents. Tom Mallon, for Mr Howard, told Mr Justice Seán Ryan yesterday that a further affidavit would be filed this week and asked for an adjournment until Thursday, when he hoped to secure a date for hearing.
Mr Howard, Greystones, Co Wicklow, has expressed concern Dunnes may move to dismiss him following alleged “veiled and open threats”.
