Losses at the Rapid Technology point-of-sales technology group have risen sharply from £640,000 to £977,000 in the six months to the end of December. The losses reflect higher spending on product development and marketing associated with its Screenkey product. The company says negotiations with IBM and other potential distribution partners are continuing.
