MR Martin Rafferty has resigned as a director of the cold storage group Norish, less than four weeks after he was reelected a director at the group's annual general meeting.
A spokesman for Norish said that Mr Rafferty had indicated his wish to resign from the board a year ago but had agreed to stay with the company through its recent restructuring. His decision to seek re election at the a.g.m. was "to show solidarity with the board".
Mr Rafferty has been a non executive director of Norish since the group joined the stock market 10 years ago and is the second director to resign from the board in a year.
