Ulster Television, which owns 60 per cent of the Cork local radio station, County Media, welcomes the changes in ownership regulations announced by the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland. "We welcome the decision to allow 100 per cent ownership of local radio stations. We have always said we were aiming for 100 per cent of County Media and in light of these policy changes we look forward to meeting with the BCI," managing director Mr John McCann said.
