Pro business PDs shy of industry cash

DESPITE their "pro business" stance on many issues, it would appear that the Progressive Democrats receive only modest amounts of money from industry. Party leader Mary Harney told the Dail that so far this year the PDs had received just £35,000 from business donations. This amount, she added, "would not even build a conservatory on to Michael Lowry's house". Nice one.
