Priorities in construction

Projects like the national sports stadium should be put on hold to focus scarce construction industry resources on dealing with "the real bottlenecks in Irish society", according to Patterson Kempster Shortall. In its annual review, the construction cost management firm says the Government must make hard decisions because of the shortage of skilled building workers.
