The guide covers how to read and fill out a proposal form, work out the full cost of rebuilding and how to cost your contents; the meaning of personal and public liability. It also covers the importance, of discounts for age, security measures, etc.; what an `excess' is, how to make a claim, and secure your home from theft, fire and accidental damage etc.
