ABN Amro has announced two senior appointments

ABN Amro has announced two senior appointments. Mr Tom McAleese has been appointed as head of origination for ABN's global outsourcing buisness and senior relationship banker in the technology sector. Ms Katherine Challcombe joins the bank as senior relationship manager with responsibility for the consumer sector.

Two new appointments have been announced at Espion. Mr Colm Murphy has been hired as technical director, having previously held senior technical positions with Entropy, Network Associates International and Deloitte & Touche, Asia/Pacific. Mr Jim Lehane, who previously held senior positions with Eircom, has been named as sales director.

Mr Patrick McNamara has been appointed non-executive chairman of Engineering Solutions Ireland Limited (ESIL). Mr McNamara was managing director of Bull CARA Group for 10 years. Ms Cicely Roche has been appointed president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland. A graduate of Trinity College, Ms Roche worked for LEO Laboratories Dublin before practising with Big V Pharmacies, a chain of pharmacies in Ontario, Canada. She joined the Pharmaceutical Drug Abuse Project Team in 1996 and was co-opted to the PSI Council in 1997. She purchased a pharmacy in Gorey, Co Wexford, in 1992, where she continues to practice.

Network365 has appointed Mr Kevin Loughlin as product marketing manager. An international marketing and Japanese graduate from DCU, Mr Loughlin joins Network365 from Web-hosting provider Worldport, where he was responsible for product marketing.

Ms Jenny MacHale has been appointed business development manager with Monster.ie. A graduate of Galway IT, Ms MacHale has worked as a recruitment consultant with SkillsGroup International and as a sales manager with Monarch IT Recruitment.

Mr Kevin Cullinane has been elected executive vice-president of Junior Chamber International. Mr Cullinane, who was nominated by Junior Chamber Ireland, previously served as vice-president, and was assigned to the national organisation members of Canada and the United States. As one of just four executive vice-presidents, Mr Cullinane has now been assigned to Europe.
