IBI Corporate Finance has appointed Mr Gerard Heffernan as associate director. Mr Heffernan graduated with a masters in finance from University College Dublin in 1993 and subsequently taught in the UCD department of Banking and Finance.

Ms Paula Campbell has been appointed publisher for Poolbeg Press. In her position Ms Campbell assumes responsibility for all publishing at Poolbeg and will work to find new bestselling writers for the company.

BUPA Ireland has appointed Ms Katherine Healy as claims manager. She will be responsible for the management of the claims team and claims payment system. She is also a member of the BUPA Ireland medical advice panel.

Mr Kieran Carolan has been appointed commercial director of Kitchenware Products Limited. He will be responsible for sales, marketing and product development. Previously Mr Carolan was head of group sales and operations for Green Isle Foods.

Sutcliffe Catering Services has appointed Mr Richard Swarbrick as commercial manager. Born in Youghal, Co Cork, Mr Swarbrick was previously group general manager for Joels Restaurant Group near Dublin's Citywest. Mr Rory O'Riordan has been appointed general manager of Standard Life in Ireland. Before this appointment, Mr O'Riordan was assistant general manager at Standard Life.

Cambridge Technology Partners has appointed Mr Michael Hoare as commercial director in Ireland.

Before joining Cambridge Technology Partners, Mr O'Hoare was group sales manager for Friends First.

Edelman Public Relations has made two new appointments. Ms Anne Austin and Ms Jeanne Victory have joined as account managers in the specialist healthcare division.

Mr Gus O'Reilly and Ms Mi- chelle Brennan have been appointed to the board of directors of Readibake Limited.

Mr O'Reilly has been sales and marketing manager since 1998 and Ms Brennan is general manager of the burger bun manaufacturing plant in Clonee.
