Vision Consulting, the international e-business and technology company, has appointed Mr Billy Linehan as senior HR manager for the Republic.

Supply chain management company, SerCom Solutions has made five appointments to its senior management team. Mr Declan Reilly has been appointed to the board as sales director. Mr Con O'Grady has been appointed marketing director. Ms Rose McCarthy has been appointed supply chain manager. Mr Ray Keane has joined SerCom as commercial manager, while Mr Fergal Marrinan has taken up the new role of e-business unit manager.

Advertising agency The Helme O'Connor O'Sullivan Partnership has appointed Ms Alice Purdon to its board of directors and as managing director of its public relations arm.

Ms Mary Fitzpatrick has been appointed marketing director of WorldCom Ireland.

Parthus Technologies has appointed chief operating officer Mr Kevin Fielding to its board. Mr Fielding joined Parthus as chief operating officer in 1998.

Ms Suzanne Mulvey has joined Internet training company Interactive Avenue as sales manager.

Mr Colm McGrath has been appointed e-business solutions sales manager at Accuris, an international provider of telecoms software. Mr Hugh Martin has joined Accuris as sales manager for network security products.

Advanced Telephone Systems has appointed Mr Kevin O'Brien as sales executive in its new vision recording division and Mr Shane Cullen in its new business sales team for the Republic.

Mr Tom Rourke has become Irish country manager of e-start, the European launch network for technology entrepreneurs.

National Vehicle Distribution has appointed Mr John O'Donoghue as general manager of its Baldonnell office.

Ms Anne Goggin has been appointed international human resources director at Alabama-based Avocent Corporation, a leading provider of network connectivity solutions for enterprise data centres. Avocent has also appointed Mr John Dunne as the first member of its newly created international strategic advisory board.

Jinny Software, a provider of mobile Internet solutions to Irish and international markets, has employed Mr Fergus Brady as business development manager with special responsibility for driving channel partnerships for the company.

The Arthritis Foundation of Ireland has named three new council members. They are Ms Gary Joyce, managing director of Genesis Marketing and Communications, Mr Jerry Liston, executive chairman of The Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business and Mr Trevor Sullivan, chairman of Westpark Technologies, Realtime Technologies, Innovatec Ireland, Spin Solutions Ltd and Gamma Group.

The foundation has also appointed Ms Sinead Doran as fund-raising and development manager, Ms Janet Dwyer as branch development/support services executive and Ms Gillian Dann as receptionist.

Mr Conall Lavery, chief executive of Entropy, has joined UK IT security specialists, Systems Software Solutions, as non-executive director.
