The McNally Design Group, the parent company of the Irish Pub Company, has announced several senior appointments.
Ms Anita Doyle becomes an executive director, Ms Karen Jeffers becomes operations director, Mr Conor Kenny becomes sales director, Mr Paul Nolan becomes marketing director, Ms Fionnuala Lennon becomes design director and Mr Denis McCague becomes technical director.
The advisory firm, KPMG, has appointed five new partners as part of an expansion of its services.
The new partners are Mr Sean O'Keefe (health care), Mr Jon D'Arcy (Belfast office), Mr Paul Dobey (financial services), Ms Cliona Mullen (retail and distribution) and Mr Gordon Wilkinson (consulting).
Mr Denis Woods has been elected as the new chairman of the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA). He replaces Mr Paul Keogh, formerly of Polygram Records.
Mr Woods is managing director of Warner Music Ireland and is also chairman of Phonographic Performance Ireland (PPI).
BUPA Ireland has appointed Ms Ann Ruth Broekhoven as general manager, medical relations with responsibility for negotiations with the medical profession and service providers, including hospitals, consultants, GPs and representative associations.
Ms Broekhoven has been involved in the pharmaceutical and medical sector throughout her career.
She has held positions with the Western Health Board, the Coombe Women's Hospital and was recently chief executive of the Dublin Well Women Centres.
Mr Paul Breen, general manager and managing director of Warner Lambert Ireland becomes a vice-president of the company worldwide.
This is the first time the company has ever appointed an Irish vice-president.
Mr Breen will continue as managing director and general manager. He joined the company in 1993.
Mr Thomas McQueirns has been appointed managing director of the newly formed company, Daewoo Ireland, the independent motor distributor.
He was previously employed with Barclays Bank Automotive Division in Britain and later with Nissan Ireland.
Mr Eoin Doyle has been appointed marketing director of the company. He was previously employed by R&A Bailey, where he held several management positions, including international marketing manager for Baileys Irish Cream.
Mr Pat Flynn and Ms Catherine Guy have been made partners in BCM Hanby Wallace solicitors. Mr Flynn joins the firm from A&L Goodbody, while Ms Guy has been promoted to the position of partner from within the firm.
National Deposit Brokers has appointed Mr Dermot O'Brien as head of its mortgage and technical services division. He previously worked with Bank of Ireland and Ark Life.
The brand communications agency, Pro Motion, has appointed Ms Barbara Galvin as designer, Mr Odhran McAlinden as account manager and Mr Gavin McAuliffe as account director with special responsibility for new business development.
Prior Communications, the Dublin-based public relations company, has appointed Ms Jennifer Jennings as account manager. Ms Jennings has previously worked with the Communications Partnership and Lehman Brothers, based in San Francisco.
The health-care division of Edelman Public Relations has recruited two additional specialist executives.
Ms Jacinta Brack, who previously worked with the AIDS charity, Cairde, joins as a senior account executive. Ms Melissa O'Halloran, who has experience in social work, joins as an account executive.
Expo Exhibitions has announced the appointment of Mr Stephen Murtagh to the position of sales manager. Mr Murtagh has worked previously with the Golden Pages and FM 104.
