Bank of Ireland has become the first financial services provider to introduce online account access terminals for use by customers in its branches. The terminals, which provide free access to Bank of Ireland's online banking facility and the company's website, have been installed on a pilot basis in 12 branches around the State.

The terminals, developed by Esat Fusion and internet access solutions provider Netnote, consist of a wall-mounted touch-screen PC and keyboard, allowing easy navigation and use.
