NATIONAL Australia Bank has appointed Mr Paddy Lynch of Cork as head of marketing at the Glasgow based Clydesdale Bank.
He is to be involved in developing a more effective and efficient marketing strategy and structure for the NAB group banks in Britain and Europe. National Irish Bank is a subsidiary of NAB.
Mr Lynch joined the group in 1993 when he was appointed head of marketing at NIB in Dublin. His rise through the group was rapid. In April 1995 he moved to the NAB head office in Melbourne to take over as head of consumer marketing.
In Clydesdale he would be responsible for developing strategies to revitalise the operation.
