Irish Pensions Trust is no longer an investment intermediary and has gone through the deregulation process with the Central Bank. As part of that process, the Central Bank published a notice last week at the request of the company. The notice said that the Central Bank had revoked the authorisation of Irish Pensions Trust under section 16 of the Investment Intermediaries Act. This is the normal process where companies leave this sector.

Irish Pensions Trust was taken over by Mercer in 1998 and its investment business was transferred to Mercer and Marsh Financial Services.
