THE Belfast based construction company Mivan has won the regional award of the AIB Capital Markets export competition, the bank said last night.
Mivan, which started in 1975 and now has offices in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and India, concentrates on specialist construction. It is most famous for building EuroDisney's "Thunder Mountain" ride.
The firm will now go forward to the final, which will take place in Cork next year, AIB said.
