Margin gambles on Government plans

The Margin's own bookmaking facility is prepared to offer the following odds on 1998:

The Government will make a final decision on the National Convention Centre (100/1);

The Government finally makes a decision on the future of the TSB (50/1);

The Government turns away a big job creation project from a multinational because it thinks it is too risky (50/1);

The 1999 Budget gives away less than the 1998 version (we won't take bets on this one).
