EIRCOM CHIEF executive Paul Donovan was certainly twistin’ and movin’ as he gave the Hucklebuck his best shot at a lunchtime staff gig on Monday at its head office opposite Heuston Station.
Donovan, who is clearly game for a laugh, had his colleagues in stitches as he gyrated on stage with Crystal Swing, the Irish band that has proved a big hit on the internet, at the launch of Eircom’s next generation broadband services.
Donovan’s performance was posted on You Tube by a mobile phone-wielding colleague. It had more than 500 hits before it was taken down.
Roll on the Christmas party.

Wilson Hartnell Public Relations is on a hot run of client wins. Having bagged the Aer Lingus and Eircom accounts recently it has now been appointed to Irish Nationwide.
Ok, it’s not the most glamourous of clients but a win’s a win.
How long WHPR will hold the account is another matter given Nationwide’s mooted merger with EBS, which is represented by Q4.
That would see an interesting head-to-head between Brian Bell and Gerry O’Sullivan for the account.
