Schroder Investment Management has announced it has 30 million shares in Lamont Holdings, the Northern Ireland textiles company. This represents an 11.1 per cent stake. A year earlier it had 10.3 per cent. Some of the shareholding is held in portfolios managed by Schroder on a discretionary basis for clients under investment management agreements.

Lamont shocked the market this week with another profit warning saying losses "would substantially exceed current market forecsts".
