Kelvinside, the print and packing group, has acquired three further companies, all based in Britain

Kelvinside, the print and packing group, has acquired three further companies, all based in Britain. Combined they have a turnover of £9.5 million sterling (€14.8 million) and employ 120 people. The consideration has not been disclosed.

Zeneth Print & Packaging, based in Pontyridd, south Wales, is in a niche area of producing unique coin, medallion and gift packaging for international customers. Reedform, based in Bracknell about 50 miles from Kelvinside's Multisets operation in Swindon, produces security printing. It generates £3 million sales and employs 40 people. Osborne Kay services the pub chains of breweries, employs 20 people and records sales of £1.5 million. Kelvinside said it now had 13 operating companies, employing 360 people with annualised turnover of some £37 million.

Chairman Mr Brian Molloy said the group is on schedule to achieve sales of £50 million by 2002-2003.
