DRINKS' group Allied Domecq is planning to expand its British chain of Irish pubs, trading as Scruffy Murphy's, from 34 to 60 outlets by the end of the year.
Plans to expand the chain of Irish pubs were disclosed in comment on Allied Domecq's 20 per cent reduction in first half profits to £321 million sterling, partly due to accounting changes that will reverse in the second.
