The Irish Management Institute has cancelled its national management conference due to concerns over foot-and-mouth disease. The conference was due to take place in Killarney on April 27th and 28th. Mr Barry Kenny, IMI chief executive, expressed regret at the cancellation but said it reflected the IMI's concern about the impact of the crisis and its effects on all sectors of Irish society.
