IIU acquires Casey stake

International Investment and Underwriting Ltd (IIU), the investment vehicle of financier Mr Dermot Desmond, has acquired the interest in Beechworth International Limited previously owned by Mr Pierce Casey. Beechworth International, which up to now was equally controlled by Mr Desmond and venture capitalist Mr Casey, holds 26.63 per cent of Dublin-based engineering group Unidare.
