The Irish Internet Association (IIA), the organisation promoting best practice in Internet usage and the representative body for businesses operating on the Internet, is conducting an evening seminar next Tuesday entitled "The Webmaster A New Profession".
It will attempt to explore the various facets of the new role that has emerged over the past four years. The evening will be of particular interest to Webmasters - an individual involved in managing a Website - though it is also aimed at anyone considering establishing and maintaining a Web site. The seminar will be chaired by information technology journalist Alex Meehan. It will take place at The Russell Court Hotel, Harcourt Street. Admission to IIA members is free (non-members £10).
