`Hot' money clampdown

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has welcomed calls by the Minister for Justice Mr O'Donoghue to improve efforts to prevent money laundering. ACCA said it would welcome the opportunity to discuss the issue with the Minister "to see whether or not the problems caused by professional client confidentiality rules can be overcome," the association said.
