Dr Ronan Lambe, one of the co-founders of clinical research company Icon, has made $111,000 (€85,000) after selling 4,000 shares in the company. He still owns 16,000 shares in the company. The company’s share price yesterday was €22.70.
Icon was founded in Dublin in 1990 by Dr John Climax and Dr Lambe and employs about 7,800 people in 39 countries.
The company recently announced it was dropping its listing on the Irish Stock Exchange and intended to go ahead with a full listing of its shares on New York’s Nasdaq.
Last month, the Dublin-based company reported that its pretax profits topped $20 million (€15 million) in the three months to September 30th.
